Long Island Helping Fellow New Yorkers

LIHelps.org: Long Islanders have set up a Web site to help their fellow New Yorkers. Included are locations and information for donations, contributions, food, clothing, shelter, more. The site is also a repository of links for helping families, victims, and even those stranded due to the airports being shut down. Lots of very helpful information here.

What an amazing world community, whether one’s neighbor or across the oceans.

We CAN make a difference, one person at a time. We’re seeing it everywhere.
