More* On Weblogs Making A Huge Impact: George Weld Interview
Here’s another article about the impact of weblogs on reporting the September 11th attacks. Included in this one is an interview with George Weld, who photographed the aftermath of the attacks to the WTC last week and posted them on the Internet at his site. Weld has had huge volumes of visitors to his site as news spread quickly about his first hand account and photos. Doug Bedell of the Dallas Morning News discusses the impact of weblogs during this crisis and interviewed Weld for his article Thursday, Weblogs give fast man-in-street reports of disaster.
People creating independent content are gaining recognition by mainstream media. I’m thrilled that they’re seeing the value that we’ve known all along.
